Helvar EL1x49ngn5 HF Electronic Ballast

The Helvar EL1x49ngn5 HF Electronic Ballast is a high-frequency fluorescent ballast designed to operate 1 x F49w T5 Fluorescent Tube with a double-ended G5 pin configuration, only. Most leading manufacturers have cancelled production of any T5 fluorescent HF control gear, however, Helvar still manufactures these so all our current stock is brand new and usually less than 12 months old OEM stock.

This means you are getting brand-new OEM units every time with a genuine warranty for up to 2 years.

The Helvar EL1x49ngn5 HF Electronic Ballast can be used as a replacement for any HF ballast used to operate 1 x F49w T5 fluorescent tube. You can also use them when paired with 'Eco T5' versions which some leading manufacturers produced in slightly lower wattages but are equivalent to their more common wattage above. This will be stamped on the tube itself if you are unsure.

Although many of these ballasts wire up the same, you may need to modify your wiring slightly to accommodate this. The NGN5 HF range lasts on average 60,000 hours.

Orders in stock placed before 4:00 PM Monday – Thursday (3:30 PM Friday) will be dispatched the same day and delivered on the next working day (Monday – Friday *excluding weekends). Large bulk orders may take 2 working days for delivery. All orders are tracked/recorded delivery. 

Please note: Items on backorder will be sent out as soon as the stock is available. Orders placed after 3:30 PM on Friday and over the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. Orders placed on Bank holidays will be processed as normal, but dispatch will be the next working day.
