This GE GE 155/800 70-125w Fluorescent Starter Part Number: 37864 is a brand new replacement starter switch for 70-125w fluorescent tubes. Some examples of these fluorescent tubes are 6ft F70w T8s, 6ft F75/85w T12s, 8ft F100w and F125w T12 tubes.
To replace, you'll need to twist left about 90° until you hear it release similar to a GU10 spot lamp. Repeat the process in reverse to install the new starter.
Switch start fittings which require a starter switch of this type are now obsolete in favour of high-frequency LED alternatives with lower power consumption. See below for some related and recommended products that might be of interest.
