LEDvance 5ft 18.3w LED T8 Tube - Daylight

Introducing the LEDvance 5ft LED T8 Tube in colour 6500k (daylight). This LED T8 tube is designed for convenience when upgrading your F58w fluorescent tubes in an existing fitting. An LED T8 tube designed to be used in switch start type fittings with an external starter and also direct 240v mains wiring setups to one G13 lamp holder. Not suitable for electronic high-frequency control gear. Each tube comes with a retrofit LED starter switch which you'll need to swap over for switch start applications.

This 18.3w is equivalent to a 58w fluorescent which is rated at 2200 lumens. The average lifespan is 30,000 hours, however, this depends on the reliability of your control gear in your existing fitting if you are running it off the original switch start control gear.

For a more modern setup, converting your fitting to direct mains power and bypassing the control gear is the better option for longevity.
