Performance Lighting Branded Products Warranty:

Thank you for choosing Performance Lighting, a brand proudly offered by Direct Lighting Supplies and one of the leading names in the trade. We stand behind the quality and reliability of our products, and to demonstrate our commitment to your satisfaction, all Performance Lighting branded products are covered by a comprehensive 5-year warranty for failure on parts and components.

Warranty Coverage:

The Performance Lighting warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship that may occur within 5 years from the date of purchase. During this warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace any faulty parts or components free of charge.

Exclusions:

The Performance Lighting warranty does not cover failures or damages caused by the following:

  1. Incorrect Installation: The warranty is void if the product has been installed incorrectly or in a manner that deviates from the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines. We highly recommend professional installation to ensure the correct setup and testing of any circuit before installation.
  2. Installation Completed Within 6 Months: To be eligible for the warranty, installation of the purchased item(s) must be carried out within 6 months from the date of receiving the product(s). Failure to adhere to this condition may void the warranty. This is providing the item(s) have been stored correctly and are free from damage.
  3. Misuse or Neglect: The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, or accidental incidents. All items are picked and inspected twice before being packaged so it’s highly unlikely damage has occurred before being packed.
  4. Unauthorised Modifications: Any unauthorised modifications or alterations made to the product may void the warranty. If you require special instructions we recommend contacting us before carrying out the work.

Warranty for Other Branded Goods:

For products that are not under the Performance Lighting brand, the warranty period will be as advised by the respective manufacturer. Customers are encouraged to refer to the manufacturer’s spec sheets or documentation provided with the product for detailed warranty information. Generally, most manufacturers provide between 1-5 years of warranty coverage.

Please note: Fluorescent tubes and lamps purchased new from Performance Lighting T/A Direct Lighting Supplies require all components in the circuit to be in full working order, otherwise a warranty claim is void. If you experience premature failure of any fluorescent tube or lamp, you will need to have your fitting(s) inspected by a qualified electrician and provide us with proof of the assessment which states the lamps are at fault and not the control gear.

As a trusted partner of renowned manufacturers, Direct Lighting Supplies has established long-standing relationships that allow us to efficiently handle warranty claims. If a Performance Lighting branded product experiences a fault within the warranty period, we will promptly issue a replacement part or a complete replacement, depending on the nature of the issue.

Return and Testing of Faulty Items:

In some cases, it may be necessary to return the faulty item(s) to our facilities for testing and identification of the fault. Our customer support team will provide you with detailed instructions on the return process and ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience. In some cases, the customer may have to cover the postage charges which will be reimbursed to them by either bank transfer, PayPal or store credit to use on another order.
